Social Work

Our licensed social workers provide counseling to patients and caregivers for a large variety of needs, including help in resolving emotionally painful family issues or confronting and understanding the many mixed feelings that often accompany terminal illness.

Spiritual Work Counseling

Our Services

Medical Director

Our Medical Director, Dr. Dimski, will work in conjunction with the patient’s regular physician, providing supplemental care focused on a higher level of comfort and quality of life.

Respite Care

In-patient respite care will be provided to the beneficiary when necessary to relieve the family members or other caregivers who are caring for the patient at home. Respite care is a short-term in-patient care and can be used up to 5 days per respite stay.

Registered Nurse

Providing individual care is our Signature specialty. The role of your nurse is to coordinate medication and supply deliveries, to be a supportive individual to family and patients in answering questions or just holding your hand.

On-Call Nursing

We have on-call nurses 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to offer you and your loved ones a piece of mind to reach out during anytime of need.

Home-Health Aides

In addition to the care you will receive from our nurses, home health aides will assist with personal care needs that help the patient feel better, be more comfortable, or just to make the day brighter.

All supplies, equipment, and prescriptions related to the patient’s comfort or terminal condition are provided by Signature Hospice. Our trained staff members will assess the needs for each item and coordinate delivery.

Signature Hospice chaplains are available to all patients anytime there is a desire for spiritual counseling with the highest regard for the patient’s personal religious beliefs.

Bereavement Services

Care for our patients is only part of what we do. The families and their needs are just as important, especially when it comes to facing the loss of a loved one. Our support starts at the first contact, continues throughout the patient’s illness, and for 13 months after the death of their loved one.

Trained Volunteers

Our volunteers supplement the care given by our staff, adding another layer of care and support to our patients and their families. Volunteers can visit, read with patients, write letters, listen to music, play games, and so much more!

In-Patient Care

Should pain or other symptoms become unmanageable and require inpatient treatment, we will contract for admission to a qualified in-patient facility until the condition returns to manageable.

Specialized Therapies

Should a patient’s terminal condition require physical, occupational, dietary, or speech therapy, our staff contracts with a therapy team to provide palliative therapies.
